New York has been announced as the final destination to be confirmed for the HSBC SVNS series leg in the United States, and will be played from 14-15 March 2026 at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
This confirmation means we know now all of the venues for the full 2026 HSBC SVNS Series, although the details for SVNS Division 2 and 3 are still to be confirmed.
World Rugby Chief Executive Alan Gilpin said: “We are thrilled to bring the HSBC SVNS series to New York, one of the world’s most iconic cities, for the first time. The city’s energy and the passion of U.S. rugby fans make this the perfect stage for our athletes to showcase the speed, skill, and energy of sevens rugby.”
The USA leg is the 6th and final tournament for the core SVNS teams, which features 8 women’s and 8 men’s teams.
Actually, the stadium is located in Harrison, New Jersey, but dont let the World Rugby marketing team know. The most immediate reaction from the fans in the US has been that it’s incredibly cold at that time of the year, and the venue is exposed to the elements.
The Sports Illustrated Stadium is home to Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls and the National Women’s Soccer League’s Gotham FC, and has a 25,000-seat capacity.

Tickets for HSBC SVNS New York will go on sale on Thursday, 4 December 2025, for limited club seats and two-day passes, with single-day tickets going on sale in January 2026. Fans can register here.
