Taiyo Life Women’s Challenger Tournament Round 2 2026

The Taiyo Life Women’s Challenger Tournament Round 2 2026 in Japan takes place from June 13-14 at Ogasayama General Sports Park Ecopa Stadium in Shizuoka. This is the final round of the Challenger events before the three regular tournaments with the 12 core teams take place.

The top four-ranked core teams across the two Challenger events will face the bottom four core teams at the end of the 3 legs in a promotion-relegation series at the Grand Final Tournament on August 9, 2026, in Sapporo.

Taiyo Life Women’s Challenger Tournament Round 1 Results

The JRFU Taiyo Life Women’s Challenger Tournament Round 1 took place in Nagoya at the Paloma Mizuho Rugby Stadium from May 16-17, with 11 teams involved.

Waseda University Rugby Football Club Women’s Team beat Japan University of Economics Women’s Rugby Club AMATERUS 31-28 in the Final.
