KL Tigers International Rugby 10s 2024
KL Tigers Rugby Football Club confirmed its youth KL Tigers International Rugby 10s tournament will take place from March 2-3 at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian and Country Resort and all age groups are full!
The organisers said The KL Tigers International Rugby 10s “serves as an impactful platform for the advancement of youth rugby development and uniting people across borders through sport.”
KL Tigers International Rugby 10s 2024 Teams & Age Grades
“KL Tigers Rugby Football Club has proudly been hosting Asia’s premier rugby tournament since 2015 and with more than 150 teams taking part and with representation from more than 10 countries, the event will see more than 5,000 players and spectators congregate at Bukit Kiara over the weekend of the 2-3rd March. Our ethos is simply to have a lot of fun and showcase the amazing sport that is rugby,” said Attila Emam, KL Tigers Rugby Football Club President.
The 150 teams represent the ages of 6 and up, with participants coming from more than 10 countries including Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand and Guam.
This junior open tournament is aimed at the clubs or schools with the age groups of U6-U18 and Girls Touch Rugby for U12, U15, & U18.
Four age groups are in a single pool of 8 teams while the remaining groups have two pools of 7 teams per age group.
Will The KL Tigers International Rugby 10s 2024 Be Streamed?
The organisers told Rugby Asia 247 that they are working on having a streaming solution, “It’s still a work in progress but we plan on streaming the final matches for the U18 and U16 competitions via KL Tigers TV YouTube channel and post links on our Instagram.”
