There are more tournaments, new tournaments, and many are hinged around international rugby events, adding that real festival feel. Phuket Beach Rugby 2026
Phuket Vagabonds announced a Beach Rugby tournament to be held on Saturday, 24th January 2026 at Patong Beach. The event will be 6-a-side contact rugby. Send the Phuket Vagabonds a message for more information.

Vioba Blues Rugby Carnival 2026
The organisers of the Malaysian rugby carnival said, “We are excited to announce that our annual rugby carnival is happening again, and it promises to be bigger, better, and more thrilling than ever before. This year’s edition will feature 16 Open ALUMNI Teams and 8 Veteran Teams.”
There is prize money of RM2,000.

Bangkok International Rugby Tens 2026
The largest and one of the most popular ten-a-side rugby tournaments in Asia, the Bangkok International Rugby 10s 2026 will run from 14-15 February 2026 and will be celebrating two decades!
The organisers said, “Get ready for the greatest social rugby tournament on the planet — The 20th ANNIVERSARY of the Bangkok International Rugby 10s 2026 is locked in!”
The annual tournament includes several youth age groups, as well as women’s, men’s and vets (Over 35s) categories, and touch rugby.

All Girls International Rugby 7’s Tournament 2026
The All Girls International Rugby 7’s Tournament 2026 returns from 20-21 March 2026, at Kings Park, Hong Kong. The age-grade girls tournament (U6-U18) used to take place the week leading up to the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2026, but now it is a month earlier.

Manila 10s 2026
The Manila 10s 2026, which is the biggest social ten-a-side rugby tournament in the Philippines, takes place from 21-22 March. There are Men’s, Men’s Social, Vets, and Women’s divisions.

Yiwu Mustangs 10s 2026
Yiwu Mustangs will celebrate its 10th Anniversary on the 21st March 2026, with the club saying, “A DECADE of rugby, friendship, and epic vibes! This one’s going to be MASSIVE!”
It apears as if there will be Men’s and Women’s Divisions.

Hanoi 10s 2026 Rugby Tournament
The Hanoi 10s tournament will be held on 28 March 2025 (after an initial save the date of early April was announced), and the organisers from Da Viet Rugby said, “We already have women’s teams from the USA and men’s teams from Japan signed up. Don’t miss your chance to get in on the early bird slots when they launch.”

The 2026 edition promises to be a Sport, Music & Culture Festival with additional sport brackets to be introduced in 2026, as well as exclusive live acts & DJs.

2026 HKFC Youth 10s (Previous ‘Youth International Cup’)
The 2026 HKFC Youth 10s will be held from 11-12 April 2026 and will be open to local Hong Kong and international teams in U5-U18 age groups.
Hong Kong Football Club said, “The U5-U7 group will be playing on a 1-day festival format on 12 April, Sunday. The U8 – U18 group will be playing on a competitive 2-day format, with group games on the Saturday and finals on the Sunday.
We’re looking for international teams interested in entering the 2026 HKFC Youth 10s, which will take place on the 11th & 12th of April. With entries for boys and girls, from U5 all the way up to U18 – there’s an option for all.”
The youth rugby matches are expected to be played at the HKFC grounds and surrounding areas in Causeway Bay.

Borneo 7s 2026
The organisers of the Borneo 7s said online, “Your April just got better! Lock this into your calendar and spread the word to your buddies, families, and mates. Come watch or play in one of the biggest 7s tournaments around.”
The two-day tournament has attracted national teams from Asia over the years and strong sides from the Pacific.

Kowloon RugbyFest 2026
The RugbyFest is a popular ten-a-side tournament that takes place during the busy HK Sevens week and will take place on 16 April 2026

Pattaya 10s 2026 (Chris Kays Rugby Memorial Tournament)
The Pattaya Tens 2026 is rumoured to be held from 2-3 May, but this is still to be confirmed by the tournament organisers, the Pattaya Panthers Rugby Football Club.
The organisers said in November 2025: “We are pleased to inform you that we have the dates for the next PATTAYA 10s Chris Kays Memorial Rugby Tournament locked in. It will be on May 2-3, 2026, and the location will be at our old home, HORSESHOE POINT. We are also planning to have a Women’s Teams”
Recent editions of the social tournament have been open to Men’s 10s teams.

Saigon Women’s 10s Rugby Tournament 2026
More details to be confirmed, but it looks as if the Saigon Geckos will be hosting a women’s tens tournament on 9 May in Ho Chi Minh City.

Chengdu 10s 2026
The Chengdu Pandas Rugby Club are hosting their 20th Anniversary 10s in May 2026 with Men’s and Women’s Divisions.

Jakarta 10s 2026
It was initially believed the 2026 edition of the Jakarta 10s would be held on 18 April but the confirmed date is 23 May 2026.
The organisers said, “The Komodos are thrilled to announce the return of the iconic JAKARTA RUGBY 10’s – set for May 23, 2026, at GBK Rugby Field, Jakarta! Bringing together clubs from across Indonesia and beyond, this tournament will feature the Men’s Open 10’s, Women’s 7’s, and Vet’s Open 10’s (40+) divisions.”

Taiwan International 10s 2026
The organisers confirmed in January 2026 and said, “Teams fly in from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, China, Vietnam, South Korea—from everywhere—expecting to dominate. Then they step onto the pitch against Taiwan’s local sides and get a wake-up call.”

KL Tigers Fest 2026
The first edition of the tournament was held in 2025 and to good reviews from the participating teams. There was Rugby 10s (Men’s, Women’s, Vets & Super Vets) as well as Touch Rugby in 2025.
Teams wanting to enter the 2026 edition can do so from February, confirmed the organisers. Rugby Divisions:

Chiang Mai International 7s 2026
The Chiang Mai 7s is back, and the organisers from Lanna Rugby club said: “After the incredible growth of rugby in Northern Thailand and the amazing response to recent tournaments, we’re excited to announce the dates for the Chiangmai International 7s 2026!

Hua Hin 10s 2026
The second edition of the Hua Hin Rugby 10s Tournament returns in 2026 on 26 September.
The organisers said the inaugural edition had a great positive response from teams involved, with expressions of interest already from other teams for the 2026 tournament.

Bali 10’s Social Community Rugby Tournament 2026
The Bali Tens is scheduled to be played from 9-11 October in 2026, and registration is open to Junior age grades, Men’s, Vets (O35s and 45s), and Women’s divisions. Bali Rugby Club are the organiser.

Phnom Penh 10s 2026
The Phnom Penh 10s 2026 tournament is provisionally scheduled to take place on 31st October 2026.
