The SFG Chiang Mai 15s League 2026 will be held from 1st August until November 7th 2026, with 5 teams from Northern Thailand set to be involved.

Northern Thailand has held 7s, 10s, 11s and XVs leagues over the years and continues to be a hotbed for rugby activity.

Isarapong Norrueang (Nor), Chiang Mai Rugby Club President and Chiang Mai XVs League Organiser, said: “Sport builds friendships, unites communities, and inspires the next generation. Join us in celebrating the SFG Chiang Mai 15s League 2026 and support rugby in Chiang Mai.”

Matt Hirst, Director of Rugby at Lanna Rugby Club, added, “Over the past 5 years I’ve been at Lanna Rugby Club, it’s great to see the rugby growing. After having had a 10s league before, then an 11s league, it’s great now to have a 15s league in the city. Well done to the league organiser Khun Nor, and to all the team managers for getting this across the line.

He added that in addition to the XV League, they are also planning on organising exhibition youth and women’s games too.
