LA28 Rugby 7s Ticket Registrations Open
Rugby Sevens fans can now register for the LA28 Rugby 7s Ticket draw, which will feature the sport at Carson Stadium, home of LA Galaxy and former host of the HSBC SVNS Championship, from Wednesday, 12 July, running through to Tuesday, 18 July.
12 men’s and 12 women’s teams will compete at LA 28 as the French men and New Zealand women will look to defend their gold medals won at Paris 2024. More than 500,000 fans attended six days of competition at Stade de France.
Rugby is set to take centre stage on the first day of Olympic action at LA 28, two days before the official opening ceremony, and fans can register for the LA28 Ticket Draw at tickets.la28.org. Registration closes on March 18, 2026.
The LA28 Olympic Games will be the largest in history, featuring 51 sports across 49 competition venues in 18 zones throughout the Los Angeles region and Oklahoma City, with 844 events in total.
World Rugby said that “Olympic rugby sevens will form a key part of the Games, continuing the sport’s growth and showcasing its unique combination of speed, agility and endurance to a global audience.”
From Asia, the Japanese and Chinese women, and the Japanese men, competed at Paris 2024 with qualifications for LA28 still to be finalised.
