The Vengaboys Confirmed To Perform at 50th Anniversary Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2026

The Vengaboys will be performing at the 50th Anniversary Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2026 at Kai Tak Stadium, which takes place from 17-19 April – the first of what will surely be a stellar lineup of entertainment.

The Vengaboys are best known for party anthems like ‘We like to Party’, “We’re going to Ibiza” and “Boom Boom Boom Boom!” and will perform on Saturday afternoon at the Sevens in Hong Kong.

The 7s tournament is renowned as the world’s premier rugby party. The Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens is one of three World Championship events on the HSBC SVNS Series and will feature 24 teams, and the Melrose Claymores, which features the hosts and invitational teams.

There will be non-stop entertainment as the sevens will be held at the Kai Tak Stadium for the second time. Over 110,000 fans attended the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens in 2025.

Over five decades, the Hong Kong Sevens has featured acts such as The Beach Boys, Madness, Kaiser Chiefs, The Wailers and more.  The debut at Kai Tak in 2025 featured in-stadium headliners and over 20 bands and dance troupes in the Fan Village.

50th Anniversary Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong 7s 2026 Tickets

More acts will be announced in the new year, and a variety of ticket categories and types are offered.

The 2026 event has already sold over 50% of its capacity, and there is strong demand internationally, with 30% of tickets sold to date coming from overseas buyers.

• Prices for three-day General Admission Hong Kong Sevens 2026 tickets are HK $2,250 for adults.
• Three-day General Admission child tickets are available for HK $1,100 (aged 12 and under).
• Single-day ticket purchases are also available via Hong Kong-based travel agency Klook.  Subject to availability, single-day tickets will be available starting from HK $550 for adults, and from HK $300 for children.
• Captain’s Lounge tickets (HK $18,250) offer premier hospitality with three-day access to a 5-star business class lounge with free-flow drinks, gourmet buffet dining, butler service, reserved seating in-stadium, and meet and greet opportunities with a variety of Hong Kong Sevens legends and official ambassadors.

Popular upgrades like the South Stand FastPass and Carlsberg Clubhouse (Saturday) are already sold out.
