Mie Pearls Claim Taiyo Seimei WSS 2025 Tournament Three In Hanazono
The Mie Pearls won the third leg of the Taiyo Seimei WSS 2025 to back up their win in the opening leg, and the top 8 teams were confirmed for the Grand Final Tournament in Sapporo on August 17, 2025, at Daiwa House Premist Dome.

For the second time this Series, the excellent Brazilian Thalia Costa from the Pearls was named the tournament MVP. The team leads the Series points standings as the top 8 sides qualified to play for the Grand Final.
Nanairo Prism Fukuoka were the losing finalists 17-21 after they beat Leg 2 champions Nagato Blue Angels in a close semifinal game 17-12 – the results also mean they leapfrogged the Blue Angels into 2nd place on the standings. Mie Pearls had beaten TKM Yokohama in their semifinal 29-5.

It has been a fiercely contested 2025 Series, but after finishing runner-up in the opening leg, Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix finished 7th in Leg 2 and 11th in Leg 3 – just doing enough to stay in the top 8.

Taiyo Life Women’s Sevens Series 2025 Grand Final Sapporo Tournament
There are some details for the schedule of the Grand Final Tournament in Sapporo, but only in Japanese on the JRFU website. The quarterfinals are based on the seedings on the log after the three rounds.

- Quarterfinal 3 – Nagato Blue Angels vs Hokkaido Barbarians Diana

Teams competing in the promotion/relegation matches:
The top three teams, excluding the Challenge team, will compete against the top three teams in the Challenger Tournament and earn the right to participate as core teams in the Taiyo Seimei WSS 2026 season.

The Exhibition match will feature the Challenge Team (12th overall) x Azalea Seven (Challenger S/4th place) – the Challenge team is the JRFU Development side and mostly featured younger players and is not subject to demotion.
