Philippine Beach Games 2020

The Philippine Beach Games 2020 dates are confirmed for 24-26th April, and touch rugby is one of the beach sports to be held at Lingayen Beach, Pangasinan.

What are the Philippine Beach Games?

According to the organiser’s website, the “Philippine Beach Games is an annual summer sporting event held in the country’s most pristine beaches. Professional and amateur athletes from all over the world will compete in some of the fastest-growing beach sports to raise awareness and excitement to alternative sports where Filipinos are more competitive.”

Last year the Philippine Beach Games took place a full month later, in May 2019 and a number of sports activities took place:

Although more details for the 2020 Philippine Beach Games touch rugby are still to be confirmed, the following formats will be played:

• Divisions: Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed
• Players per team: Minimum 4, Maximum 7
