In total, according to BBC Sport, Japan scored four tries through Taniguchi (2), Ebuchi, and Otsuka with Hirayama converting two of them.*
*World Rugby has the Japanese scorers as “Makoto Ebuchi, Ayasa Otsuka, Noriko Taniguchi and Seina Saito – with conversions from Minori Yamamoto and Ai Hirayama.”
Scotland had also scored 4 tries but missed all of their conversions to fall to two late tries from Japan. Last week the Scottish had lost to Wales 17-3.
